Healthcare Center Front Desk Representative

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Receptionist to join our team at Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing appointments, and ensuring the smooth operation of our health center.
Key Responsibilities- Front Desk Operations: Greet patients, answer phone calls, and manage appointment scheduling to optimize patient satisfaction and provider time.
- Patient Registration: Assist patients with completing registration and other necessary paperwork, ensuring completeness of the patient record.
- Confidentiality and Data Protection: Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Communication and Support: Provide emotional support to patients, respond to emergencies, and work collaboratively with health center staff to ensure quality delivery of health-related services.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, perform data entry, and assist with general office duties as needed.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent in Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in medical office front desk administration or a related field
