Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Med/Surg team on a per diem basis. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care through the use of the nursing process.
  • Develop, discuss, and communicate a prioritized problem list/plan of care for each patient.
  • Assess/reassess and document patient's level of comfort utilizing the appropriate pain scale and the patient's response to each intervention.
  • Work on behalf of patient/family. Seeks help to represent patient/family when they are unable to represent themselves.
  • Foster's a Culture of Safety through personal ownership and commitment to a safe environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Previous Acute Care RN experience preferred.
  • RN - Registered Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification, Emergency Response Training Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification may be required.
