Job Title: Medical Expert Reviewer

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Expert Reviewer to join our team at Maximus Federal.

This is a 100% remote position, and as a Medical Expert Reviewer, you will be responsible for reviewing medical records and providing expert opinions on the quality of care provided by healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care medicine and experience in peer review.

You will be required to work independently, using your own computer to complete online training and review medical records using the VA EMR system.

In addition to your expertise, you will also need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with our team to ensure high-quality reviews.

We estimate that this role will pay $60-80 per hour, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.

The volume of cases will vary between 0-10 cases per month, but we expect our reviewers to be able to commit to reviewing at least 5 cases per week.

As a Medical Expert Reviewer at Maximus Federal, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including audit reviews, clinical appeals, executive summary reports, and facility-requested reviews.
