Position Overview
The role involves the design, layout, testing, and assessment of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. Responsibilities include product development tasks such as interpreting customer specifications and documentation requirements, as well as providing support for existing product lines through design modifications. The position also entails coordinating efforts during equipment downtimes, implementing countermeasures, improvement strategies, and ensuring SQDC containment related to equipment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead projects encompassing planning, budgeting, preparation, status updates, and management
• Design and develop equipment countermeasures to address SQD characteristics
• Engineer, develop, and verify job processes
• Initiate and oversee equipment enhancement projects
• Analyze equipment and develop improvement and countermeasure strategies
• Mentor team members and foster development
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
Experience:
2-8 years in a relevant field
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, 3D modeling software, project management, strong oral and written communication, CAD software, interpersonal skills, and customer service abilities
Work Environment
70% Office Work
20% Equipment and Floor Evaluation
10% Production Support
Willingness to work overtime during weekends, holidays, and off shifts as business needs arise
