Job Title: Equipment Design Senior Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Design Senior Engineer to join our team at American Honda Motor. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing critical proprietary spare parts for our North American plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine sourcing for spare parts, including in-house, Honda Motor, or approved suppliers.
  • Provide quotes, ship, bill, and support accounting as required for cost allocation.
  • Arrange for assembly and quality check of spare parts as new suppliers are validated.
  • Perform technical analysis of critical spare parts to determine if procurement can be shifted to MRO via approved companies or suppliers.
  • Provide technical support, plant technical training, and perform repair and performance validation for specialized D-Products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) or equivalent job experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical/engineering work experience in Manufacturing (focus in specialized area a plus).
  • Application of engineering and manufacturing principles.
  • Technical experience with HDMA D-products.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office & SAP.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills to communicate effectively with customers and internal project teams.
  • Business acumen in a technical environment.
