Position Title: Report Engineer
Position Overview:
- Evaluate and interpret business data needs to develop accurate and flexible reporting solutions.
- Design, execute, and sustain reporting frameworks using established methodologies for data analysis and visualization.
- Conduct testing and documentation of reporting solutions to ensure reliability.
- Assist in establishing and adhering to reporting data standards.
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and quality concerns to guarantee report precision and uniformity.
- Oversee report generation workflows and troubleshoot any issues that may occur.
- Collaborate in a dynamic environment, working alongside diverse teams and technologies.
- Pursue ongoing learning and adaptability to emerging technologies while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in report generation from data warehouse and operational database sources.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with reporting, analytics, or dashboard tools (such as Crystal Reports, Tableau, Power BI, SAP Business Objects, JReport, JasperReports).
- Proficient in SQL programming.
- Solid understanding of relational database architectures.
- Experience with programming or scripting languages (including Python, PowerShell, Java).
- Familiarity with cloud-based database warehouses (like Snowflake, Redshift).
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is advantageous.
- Knowledge of dbt Core is a plus.
