Data Engineer Opportunity

Powerhouse Institute, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data systems and architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop data integration solutions using Talend, Spark, and HDInsight.
  • Develop and maintain ETL workflows to ingest, transform, and aggregate data.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through data profiling, data migration, and data cleansing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement complex business rules and data architectures.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in data warehouse architecture, ETL design and development.
  • Experience in building framework-based data integration using Talend, Spark, and HDInsight.
  • Experience in writing complex SQLs to analyze and troubleshoot data issues.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline.
