Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Johns Hopkins Medicine. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and perform appropriate CT protocols based on patient clinical presentation according to established guidelines.
  • Select, review, and adjust technical factors to produce optimal CT images based on patient age and physical condition.
  • Routinely position patients properly on the CT table and remove all preventable artifacts that may interfere with image quality.
  • Consistently complete the full exam, including all appropriate paperwork, post-processing, and archiving.
  • Verify accurate and complete patient identifiers, procedure, and other pertinent information.
  • Demonstrate a good technical knowledge to fully understand and operate the CT scanners and accessory equipment.
  • Maintain and clean all CT equipment to established guidelines.
  • Actively keep the work area clean and orderly.
Requirements
  • Minimum of High school or GED equivalent required.
  • Completion of an AMA-approved program for Radiologic Technology or equivalent, which is required in a two-year college or technical school program.
  • ARRT certified with current registration required.
  • BLS CPR certification required.
