Position Overview

Cascade Lakes Brewing is seeking a dedicated Culinary Support Specialist to join our dynamic kitchen team.

The Culinary Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting kitchen staff with meal and ingredient preparation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing tasks as outlined by the Head Chef or kitchen manager
  • Organizing and labeling food items in storage areas for easy access
  • Preparing ingredients by washing, chopping, and sorting various items such as fruits, vegetables, and proteins
  • Measuring and preparing seasonings and other cooking components
  • Initiating cooking processes, including parboiling and sauce reduction
  • Maintaining cleanliness by washing dishes, sanitizing utensils, and disposing of waste
  • Complying with all relevant health and safety regulations
  • Monitoring ingredient inventory and collaborating with kitchen staff for resupply needs

Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a similar role is preferred.
