This role requires a thorough understanding of Title 4 (Arizona liquor law) and the ability to work effectively within a team environment while adhering to all internal controls and training protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present menus, respond to inquiries, and make recommendations regarding food and service.
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of food items, beverages, and cocktails.
  • Ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
  • Provide tray service and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
  • Relay orders to the kitchen and service bar, ensuring timely delivery of courses.
  • Monitor guest requests and maintain a thorough understanding of service sequences.
  • Perform food running duties and keep work areas organized and sanitized.
  • Prepare and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while ensuring compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
  • Accurately compute bills and process payments with basic math skills.
  • Utilize the Point of Sale (POS) system effectively to minimize errors.
  • Uphold all health and safety regulations as mandated by Tribal, City, State, and Federal guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Participate in team efforts and contribute to achieving related goals.
  • Exhibit a high-energy, motivated demeanor while providing exceptional guest service.
  • Engage in ongoing communication with team members and guests to foster a positive atmosphere.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, with relevant experience in an upscale dining environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and pass a pre-employment screening.
  • Knowledge of dining operations and guest service principles.
  • Ability to enforce Title 4 (Arizona liquor law) and manage cash handling effectively.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

This position is typically performed in dining and kitchen areas with exposure to various environmental factors such as heat, cold, and noise. Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends, is required.
