Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

The Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) at Highmark Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a CTICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery and cardiovascular interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and plan individualized patient care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Implement and evaluate nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and well-being.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
- CPR certification.
- Experience in critical care nursing, preferably in a cardiothoracic or cardiovascular setting.
