We are currently seeking a 1st shift Stock Control Coordinator for a client specializing in the design and supply of protective headgear for individuals in hazardous environments.

This position is responsible for managing and documenting the movement of inventory throughout the production process to ensure that operations are adequately supplied to uphold established production rates and maintain precise inventory records. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of one of the region's rapidly expanding companies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage, adjust, relocate, and distribute raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products across the facility in accordance with predetermined stock levels, work orders, and production timelines.
  • Utilize necessary equipment to effectively handle materials being received, issued, shipped, or stored.
  • Engage in weekly production scheduling and inventory meetings.
  • Support the purchasing department by communicating requirements based on individual requests, observations, and reorder points.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory shortages and discrepancies.
  • Analyze trends and provide statistical insights to enhance processes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficient understanding of inventory control practices and inventory management software.
  • Experience with inventory cycle counting and implementing corrective measures.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Relevant certifications or work experience commensurate with required skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
