About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at AdventHealth Palm Coast. As a PACU Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition for patients from the operating room to the recovery area.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver coordinated nursing care to patients in the PACU, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Supervise and responsibly direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing personnel, utilizing both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
  • Perform and document accurate initial assessments, obtain and interpret information, and report appropriate information in a timely manner to responsible physicians.
  • Utilize clinical data to implement appropriate interventions and observe and monitor patient lab work for trends.
Requirements
  • Must be proficient in the English language.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree.
  • Active Florida RN license required.
  • 1 year PACU or ICU experience required.
