Scope of WorkAs a Nurse Technician, you will work under the supervision of a Nurse and follow hospital policies and procedures to perform various nursing care tasks and treatments on assigned patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Bathing and personal grooming of patients
- Ambulating, moving, and turning patients
- Assisting patients with bedpans or urinary devices
- Making patient beds and caring for personal property
- Assisting with additional nursing procedures, such as catheterizations, suctioning, irrigating colostomies, applying restraints, giving enemas, douches, and sitz baths or pericare

To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Be currently enrolled and attending an accredited school of registered nursing
- Have completed adult medical-surgical rotations – theory and clinical
- Hold current BLS certification
