Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to join our team at Dover Fueling Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct the work of manufacturing technicians to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Integrate the manufacturing engineering team into all areas of production to drive continuous improvement, quality, and new product introduction.
  • Participate in expense and capital improvements to optimize operations and drive business transformation.
  • Provide guidance and communication to the engineering group on procedures and best practices.
  • Manage employees effectively by setting goals and expectations, and holding them accountable for results.
  • Conduct system and material flow studies to identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in LEAN initiatives and engage Six Sigma tools to streamline processes.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for new products, documenting changes and providing design feedback.
  • Manage multiple projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, budget control, and EHS compliance.
  • Lead and interface with manufacturing, sales, marketing, and other support teams to complete projects within schedule and budget.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in a manufacturing assembly line environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in a manufacturing assembly line environment.
  • 3+ years of experience as a leader of manufacturing technicians and/or manufacturing engineers.
  • Strong project management skills and prior experience leading process improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work individually and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Possess strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
