Job Summary

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Principal Photolithography Process Engineer to join our team in Goleta, CA. As a key member of our Focal Plane Operations Process Engineering department, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing photolithography processes to support production and development products across multiple domains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement photolithography processes to meet product specifications and manufacturing process flows
  • Maintain operating instructions for process and equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve technical issues
  • Research and evaluate new suppliers and technologies to improve production, quality, and cost
  • Partner with mask design and device design engineering teams to define and prove in new photo masks
Requirements
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or a related field and a minimum of 8 years' experience as a Process or Manufacturing Engineer in an Optics, Electro-Optics, and/or Microelectronics environment
  • Or an advanced degree with 5 years of Process or Manufacturing Engineer experience in an Optics, Electro-Optics, and/or Microelectronics environment
  • Experience with photoresist coaters, steppers, and developer equipment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government issued clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with sustaining existing photolithography processes to meet product specifications and manufacturing process flows
  • Ability to solve technical problems, meet deadlines, and multitask
  • Thorough sense of ownership, drive, and dedication to continuous improvement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Raytheon Technologies offers a competitive salary range of $105,000 - $221,000, depending on experience.
