Senior Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist, Clinical to join our team at Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health USA, Inc. in Athens, GA.
Job Summary:The Senior Scientist, Clinical will be responsible for the design, organization, conduct, and timely completion of assigned clinical veterinary research and development studies to earn label claims and new product licenses/marketing authorizations consistent with the Target Product Profile.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, organize, and conduct clinical veterinary research and development studies to achieve project objectives.
- Apply understanding of data and scientific decision processes, interpreting and reporting data in well-supported conclusions.
- Conduct hands-on clinical studies and either lab or field studies, including GxP and non-GxP environments.
- Lead projects, including project management and effectively working in an international and cross-functional matrix environment.
- Doctorate degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Veterinary-related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
- Masters degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Veterinary-related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
- 5 years of experience with applying understanding of data and scientific decision processes, interpreting and reporting data in well-supported conclusions.
- 3 years of experience with veterinary research and development, including research methodology, planning, and organizing projects with a quality orientation.
