Job Title: Registered Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

The Registered Pharmacy Technician will provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients by responding to inbound and outbound calls, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Process prescriptions, verify insurance coverage, and facilitate prior authorization requests
  • Accurately transcribe prescriptions, generate reports, and coordinate delivery
  • Provide support to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician certification required
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in computer software and technology

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in Oakland Park, Florida, working in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy environment.

Shift and Volume:

Tuesday-Friday (9-5:30pm) and Saturdays (8am-2pm) or Tues-Fri (8:30-5:30pm); 1500 scripts/week as a team
