Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Services Assistant to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality food service is provided to our residents and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Cook in the preparation and service of meals, following established policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver food and trays, wash dishes, and clean and sanitize the kitchen according to health standards.
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Provide positive, pleasant, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; specialized training in food service desirable.
  • Current ServSafe certification required by State/County law.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
