About this Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker to join our team. As a Personal Banker, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and building relationships with our customers through proactive outreach and product recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Participate in delivery of exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach as well as proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially.
  • Account Management: Assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop understanding of bank products and services to connect to customers' needs.
  • Relationship Building: Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships.
  • Problem Solving: Provide appropriate options for bank products and services to customers and refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed.

Requirements

  • Customer Service Experience: 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer Service Focus: Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
  • Proactive Engagement: Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email.
  • Product Knowledge: Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of mobile banking options.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to help customers succeed financially by offering introductions to additional team members as appropriate.
  • Teamwork: Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs.
  • Communication: Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members.

Job Expectations

  • Availability: Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
  • Cash Handling: Maintains cash drawer, cash handling and balancing and spends time completing service-related tasks as needed.
  • SAFE Registration: This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment. Wells Fargo will initiate the SAFE registration process immediately after your employment start date.
