Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Universal Banker to join our team in Aurora, IL. As a Universal Banker, you will be responsible for managing the consumer loan process, working with members to meet their financial service needs, and promoting credit union products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loan Processing: Manage the consumer loan process from initiation through pre-qualification to closing, including interviewing loan applicants, preparing applications, and providing timely and accurate disclosures to members.
  • Member Service: Work with members to meet their financial service needs, including processing share deposit payments, loan payments, and other transactions.
  • Product Promotion: Promote credit union products and services based on member needs, and initiate conversations to suggest new products and services.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to general regulatory procedures and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in a financial institution or other customer service industry preferred.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to form and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Travel: May be required to travel to cover other branches.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
