Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Northwell Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with disabilities, injuries, and/or diseases using physical, chemical, and mechanical means.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to determine the extent of their disabilities or impairments and develop treatment plans to achieve established goals.
- Administer direct patient care in accordance with written prescriptions and/or referrals from licensed physicians or authorized practitioners.
- Utilize appropriate evaluation techniques with efficiency and thoroughness to design treatment programs.
- Make accurate observations of patient tolerance and/or status during treatment and modify treatment programs as needed.
- Respond appropriately to established department emergency procedures for patient safety and care.
- Submit required documentation in accordance with department policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement chart reviews and activities.
- Attend family meetings/conferences and interact with interdisciplinary staff regarding patient welfare and management.
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Current License to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York State, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
The salary range for this position is $79,880-$136,340/year. Northwell Health is an equal employment opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
