Position Summary:
The Airport Operations Manager is tasked with overseeing and facilitating all ongoing construction initiatives at the airport, ensuring minimal disruption to passenger and partner experiences. This role involves active participation in project discussions, planning sessions, and providing essential feedback to guarantee the successful execution of construction activities while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a vigilant awareness of evolving conditions and requirements impacting airport operations, assessing their implications and implementing necessary response strategies.
  • Review construction and phasing plans to support MNAA's development objectives while minimizing impacts on passenger experiences and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with various MNAA departments and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate allocation of resources.
  • Implement incident management protocols for effective handling of incidents of varying scales.
  • Monitor airport activities and facilities, ensuring compliance with established rules and regulations by airlines, tenants, and contractors.
  • Prepare and maintain operational records and reports.
  • Address complaints and inquiries, providing recommendations for resolution.
  • Exercise independent judgment and initiative in daily operations.
  • Ensure compliance with the Airport's Notification Systems.
  • Maintain accurate and communicable plans and procedures among all relevant parties.
  • Exhibit regular and punctual attendance.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations.
  • Support MNAA's commitment to its core values of Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in aviation, business, construction management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in a large-hub airport environment, specifically in Airside, Terminal, or Landside Operations.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Airside Operations.
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience.
  • 2-4 years of demonstrated experience in stakeholder communication at a large-hub airport.
  • Valid CLASS D Driver's License.
  • Certification as a Certified Member (CM) or Airport Certified Employee (ACE) from the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).
