Key Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Coordinator for Cardiac Telemetry on the night shift, you will be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000, contingent upon relevant experience. Your role will encompass:
- Assuming leadership responsibilities for the care delivery team.
- Coordinating patient care by assigning and scheduling nursing staff, while prioritizing, delegating, and evaluating care.
- Engaging in process improvement initiatives and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to address system and unit-based challenges.
- Providing insights for nursing staff performance evaluations and assisting with educational requirements.
- Participating in unit and hospital activities to foster a culture of excellence.
Additional Duties:
The Clinical Coordinator will also support staffing needs under the guidance of the Administrative Director and/or Clinical Manager. This role includes:
- Taking on a limited patient care assignment to ensure leadership responsibilities are met.
- Serving as a resource for nursing personnel and assisting in planning and facilitating staff meetings.
- Monitoring staffing schedules to maintain optimal nurse-patient ratios.
- Facilitating shared decision-making among staff and improving unit throughput to enhance patient care.
- Coordinating in-service programs to enhance staff competencies based on identified needs.
Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will meet the minimum Level 6 of the Promoting Excellence Performance Criteria if they are internal applicants.
