Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Designer or Architect to join our team at SWBR Architecture, Engineering & Landscape Architecture, D.P.C. in Rochester, New York.

About the Role

This full-time position will involve providing landscape and urban design services for clients, working on multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborating with our team to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in all phases of project development, including site inventory and analysis, schematic design, construction documentation, and project coordination.
  • Develop and prepare schematic design documents, such as colored plan renderings, elevations, and 3D models.
  • Prepare construction documents, including hardscape plans, planting plans, grading plans, and construction details.
  • Coordinate with allied disciplines and review employee performance to provide collaborative feedback.
  • Work in a normal office setting and occasionally visit active construction sites, requiring physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and keyboard.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • Licensure in Landscape Architecture in the State of New York or actively pursuing licensure.
  • 2-10 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work within a collaborative environment and maintain working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
  • Experience with SketchUp and ArcGIS is desired.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
