Healogics is dedicated to expanding its reach and services through partnerships with outpatient clinics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Center leadership to enhance daily patient flow
  • Engages in staff meetings to support essential operations within the Center
  • Welcomes patients and visitors, handles phone inquiries, and directs them to the appropriate personnel
  • Manages patient communication needs, including scheduling and appointment reminders
  • Confirms patient insurance details and accurately inputs data
  • Collects and records patient charges, reconciles billing, and prepares necessary documentation
  • Organizes and maintains patient records
  • Coordinates additional testing and patient transport
  • Ensures the availability of office and medical supplies
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Delivers wound-related patient care as directed by RN/Provider
  • Assists with patient intake and discharge processes
  • May support hyperbaric oxygen therapy operations
  • Contributes to Vein Clinic activities
  • Collects patient information and necessary supplies
  • Reports quality of care concerns and communicates effectively with the team
  • May serve as a Documentation Assistant (scribe)
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
  • Completion of a certified Medical Assistant, EMT, or Nursing Assistant program
  • Current certification/license in CMA, CNA, or EMT
  • At least 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Prior experience in medical coding is advantageous
Skills & Competencies
  • BLS certification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with a team
