Job Title: Shift Supervisor

A critical role in our manufacturing plant, the Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our production team. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume complete responsibility for the shift and its operation
  • Monitor and maintain product quality levels
  • Coordinate and facilitate efficient color changes and production line clearances
  • Manage the workplace in a manner that exceeds throughput goals
  • Perform daily observations and initiate corrective measures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Investigate manufacturing/production issues for root cause analysis
  • Monitor the performance of and effectively troubleshoot issues with in-line vision inspection equipment
  • Perform facility safety audits to ensure adherence to all safety standards
  • Enforce all Company policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university; or 2 years of related experience while managing others
  • Knowledge and experience with SQF is preferred
  • Ability to write information and respond to questions from employees, customers, members of management, peers, and the general public
  • Ability to effectively present information
  • Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record-keeping, routine database activity, spreadsheet, graphics, Microsoft Office products
