Key Responsibilities

As the Lead Marketing Account Strategist, you will oversee the account management team, guiding local community and corporate creative initiatives, strategies, and branding across various media channels. You will serve as the primary liaison between account executives and creative directors, ensuring alignment with Brookdale's branding standards.

  • Develop and mentor the account management team.
  • Collaborate with the account strategy team to ensure creative outputs reflect the Brookdale brand and are delivered on schedule.
  • Enhance and streamline creative workflow processes.
  • Implement and manage an analytics system to evaluate creative performance and optimization.
  • Direct the creative account team in delivering community and corporate projects within established guidelines, utilizing diverse tactics such as digital marketing, collateral materials, and direct mail.
  • Lead the creative strategy and output for the marketing department.
  • Act as the primary contact for local media agencies, developing comprehensive community media strategies.
  • Oversee project timelines and budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Advise executive leadership on key advertising and branding strategies that align with corporate objectives.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to guide creative initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication between creative directors and account managers regarding project needs and processes.

Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Knowledge

Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of organizational dynamics are essential for problem-solving. Candidates should possess advanced knowledge of the industry and functional disciplines, gained through extensive experience.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Interaction with colleagues, residents, and vendors is required.
  • Occasional weekend or evening work may be necessary.
  • Travel may be required on occasion.
