Role Overview:

We are looking for a Project Engineer to become a vital member of our team. In this role, you will assist the Superintendent and Project Manager in ensuring the effective execution and timely delivery of construction projects, prioritizing safety across all trades, and maintaining high standards of workmanship in accordance with project specifications. You will collaborate closely with the Superintendent to guarantee that projects are completed on schedule and within financial parameters.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the Submittal and Request for Information (RFI) processes; manage and disseminate documentation.
  • Assist in recording and distributing instructions from the Architect, including ASIs, Addenda, RFIs, and RFPs.
  • Update and post all modifications weekly to the construction document set.
  • Draft general correspondence for Subcontractors and Vendors, reviewing with the Project Manager as necessary.
  • Aid the Project Team in upholding safety regulations and quality benchmarks.
  • Contribute to the execution and completion of Project Punch Lists.
  • Assist the Assistant Project Manager with the Project Closeout process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various construction trades.
  • Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
  • Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including extended periods of standing, walking on uneven surfaces, crouching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
