A Field Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing projects that are executed by our field technicians in various locations.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing construction or engineering projects, with a strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.

This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring that project objectives are met while adhering to safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, scheduling, and logistics.
  • Coordinate with other stakeholders and clients to define project requirements and expectations.
  • Oversee the execution of the project plan, ensuring tasks are completed as scheduled.
  • Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments as needed to optimize project performance.
  • Lead and supervise field crews.
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative, safe, and productive work environment.
  • Ensure that all work is performed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates and address any issues.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, and other documentation as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in the electric utility industry.
  • Proven experience in managing construction or engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the field.
