We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse ICU to join our team at AdventHealth Central Texas. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals in need of intensive medical treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care activities that are developmental and age-specific for the population served.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to complete the nursing process and the patient's plan of care.
  • Provide emotional, physical, and spiritual support to patients and their families.
  • Supervise assigned team members and ensure a safe and clean work environment.
  • Administer and store medications safely according to policy and procedures.
  • Maintain patients' confidence and protect their health information.
  • Participate in and respond to unit staffing notifications and disaster communication systems.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse License to practice in the state of Texas or a Compact Registered Nurse License from a NCLA Compact State.
  • BLS and ACLS Certification by the American Heart Association.
