Job Opportunity

Soliant is collaborating with a school network in Annandale, MN to provide a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to work with K-12 students.

This is a great opportunity for SLPs who want to be part of a mission to bring different education models to a sector of the wider community.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology License
  • Professional Educators' License (PEL), issued by the Minnesota Department of Education

Details:

  • Location: Annandale, MN
  • Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours but can be flexible if more is needed), 8:10am-3:00pm Monday to Friday
  • Caseload: Approximately 50 students on caseload (K-12)

As a school-based SLP, you will:

  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Present evaluation results and propose IEP (Individual Education Plan) goals at IEP meetings.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
  • Provide reports of a student's progress to parents.
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
