Pediatric Medical Assistant Certification

The Pediatric Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive patient care under the guidance of healthcare professionals, including physicians and registered nurses. This position adheres to established protocols and standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Pediatric Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in various patient care activities.
- Maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Supporting the healthcare team in delivering high-quality care.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A High School diploma or GED is mandatory. Candidates must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program recognized by relevant accrediting bodies or a Nursing Assistant program.
EXPERIENCE:
No prior experience is necessary for this role.
CERTIFICATION:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Additionally, certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a comparable certifying organization is essential.
