Job Title: Survey Technician Instrument Operator
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Survey Technician Instrument Operator to join our team at Randstad. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating land survey instruments, assisting in the completion of field surveys, and utilizing survey controllers and software to collect geospatial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of land survey instruments to support a crew in their daily operations
- Assist in the completion of field surveys under the supervision of a Crew Chief
- Responsible for the operation, checking, and basic field adjustments of land survey equipment
- Utilize survey controllers and software to collect geospatial data and perform survey computations
- Read and interpret various types of maps and plans
- Complete neat and orderly field notes for land survey operations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid, current driver's license
- One year industry experience
- Knowledgeable in the principles and performance of basic types of surveys, survey computations, and field operations
