Lead Clerk

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Lead Clerk to join our team. As a Lead Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting management with the operations of the store, leading by example, and providing exceptional customer service to our customers.

• Customer Service: Provide fast, friendly, and courteous service to all customers, answering their questions and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
• Leadership: Lead by example, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and providing guidance and support to other employees as needed.
• Operations: Assist management with the day-to-day operations of the store, including monitoring customer traffic flow, coverage of checkout lanes, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to new employees, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
• Problem-Solving: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, escalating issues to management as needed.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail or grocery environment.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

The Lead Clerk will work in a fast-paced retail environment, standing for long periods of time, walking, and moving rapidly. The ability to lift and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to 50 lbs. frequently is required.
