About the Role

Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical Unit as part of our Weekender Flex Program. This unique opportunity allows caregivers to enjoy a better work-life balance while providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients on the 5th Floor Medical-Surgical Unit
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, and update patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Monitor and record patients' conditions, administering prescribed medications and treatments as needed
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs, educating patients and their families on post-discharge care
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • One year of current acute care RN experience (military RN experience considered)
