Job Summary

SGA Talent is seeking highly skilled and experienced Fine Dining Servers to join our team for a variety of special events. As a Fine Dining Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in a sophisticated dining environment. Your attention to detail, knowledge of menu items, and ability to create a memorable dining experience will contribute to the overall success of each event.

Responsibilities:

  • Present menus and provide detailed information about the dishes and beverages available.
  • Accurately take food and drink orders from guests.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring guest satisfaction by checking in regularly and addressing any concerns or special requests.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.
  • Process payments and handle cash transactions using a point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout your shift.

Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Fine Dining Server or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Basic culinary knowledge to answer guest questions about menu items confidently.
  • Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to provide personalized service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of bussing procedures and willingness to assist with clearing tables when needed.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
