**Job Summary**
HSMC is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Early Intervention Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our Early Intervention program, you will play a vital role in providing essential services to families with children birth to 3 years of age with developmental delays or at risk for developmental delays.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support children's cognitive, motor, and sensory development.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to identify areas of need and develop strategies for improvement.
- Provide home-based services, including parent coaching and education, to empower families to support their child's development.
- Participate in trans-disciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric experience, preferably in early intervention or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in computer-based technology, including Microsoft Office and electronic health records.
