We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Integrity Specialist to join our team at Prosum. As a key member of our clinical revenue integrity team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our revenue cycle processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the daily maintenance of our clinical data management (CDM) system, ensuring timely and accurate synchronization of data between our billing system and CDM management tools.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations, ensuring our Chargemaster accurately represents services provided.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for CDM maintenance and charge process, conducting regular meetings to evaluate department charge processes and improve charge capture and coding compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including administration, IS, compliance, clinical informatics, and integration personnel, to drive technology projects impacting charge entry, charge dictionaries, and charge.
- Provide subject matter expertise in compliance and pricing of services, responding to inquiries regarding Chargemaster issues and supervising meetings for projects associated with educating and communicating to clinical revenue generating departmental staff.
- Work closely with revenue auditors, providing leadership and direction to the revenue auditor team to research and resolve requests in a timely manner, and aid in the training and skill development of auditors to maximize available tools for Chargemaster and billing compliance.
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or Nursing preferred.
- Credentialed Coder.
- Millennium Cerner experience required.
