Job Overview

Hunt Real Estate Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Insurance Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for maintaining agency physical plans, setting overall agency servicing operations, and managing key agency processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the President to develop and implement agency operational strategies.
  • Manage the agency management system (Applied Epic), carrier websites, and lead distribution to insurance producers.
  • Provide agency reports to management, Regional VP's, and Branch Directors.
  • Assist in maintaining overall agency marketing strategies, including producer and branch needs.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies through review of operational procedure manuals.
  • Serve as liaison to Core Business lines within Hunt, collaborating with various lines of business regarding operational initiatives.
  • Manage contracts, agreements, and licensing/continuing education requirements for the agency and employees.
  • Work with outside vendors, carriers, and consulting firms as required.
  • Provide onboarding for new hires, manage account managers' timecards and schedules, and respond to employee operational inquiries.
  • Coordinate client events, including invitations and vendor involvement.
  • Ensure internal compliance, participate in audit requests, and maintain complaint/compliant records.
Requirements
  • Advanced courses in management and leadership.
  • Five or more years of successful experience in insurance operations or a related field.
  • Three or more years of supervisory experience.
  • Insurance agency management experience, Applied Epic preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent leadership and human relations abilities.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement plans to achieve monthly and annual objectives.
  • Ability to work in a cooperative, collegial manner with all other Leadership personnel.
