Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between owners, architects, consultants, and contractors to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving construction project issues, ensuring timely and efficient problem-solving.
  • Review and analyze submittal data, including shop drawings, product data, and mock-ups, to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare and issue change orders, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Attend owner-architect-contractor (OAC) meetings and conduct site visits to address construction problems and concerns.
  • Submit regular field observation reports to stakeholders, providing detailed insights into project progress and compliance.
  • Track and respond to requests for information (RFI) and requests for proposals (RFP), ensuring prompt and accurate communication.
  • Monitor project expenditures and budget, identifying areas for cost optimization and efficiency.
  • Review and verify contractors' payment applications, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
  • Produce clear and concise meeting minutes, facilitating effective communication and decision-making.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction drawings, sketches, diagrams, plans, and specifications.
  • Advanced knowledge of masonry, ICF, and steel stud construction, with experience in using Newforma and BIM 360 preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and foster a collaborative work culture.
