Job Title: Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at GPAC. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading commercial construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the estimating team during the preconstruction phase to ensure accurate project scope and budget.
  • Read and interpret construction plans and specifications to identify potential issues and develop solutions.
  • Mentor less experienced project management staff to ensure effective project execution.
  • Work with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to establish long-term relationships and identify future project opportunities.
  • Oversee subcontractor and vendor procurement, including buyout, scope of work review, contract writing, insurance, and bonding reviews.
  • Guide the research and recommendation of resolutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, and errors.
  • Manage the team that processes all submittals, RFIs, change order proposals, owner billings, time sheet management, subcontractor/vendor billings, monthly reports, and other project-related tasks.
  • Ensure timely owner billings via verification of work-in-place quantities and billings from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Verify the production of accurate monthly cost projections that forecast total estimated costs at completion.
  • Oversight of the creation and monitoring of project schedules and production of progress updates.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial/light industrial projects.
  • Broad knowledge of building systems and construction methods.
  • Strong financial management skills and the ability to independently manage all aspects of a project from start to finish.
