Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain thorough documentation of daily activities.
  • Keep the workspace and machinery tidy, minimizing oil and grease buildup.
  • Conduct visual assessments of equipment and document any issues.
  • Provide maintenance for various construction machinery, including cranes, pavers, and other heavy equipment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies during all tasks.
  • Availability to work night shifts and weekends as required.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • A valid Class A or B CDL with X endorsement and Hazmat certification is necessary for operating a service vehicle. A clean driving record is mandatory.
  • Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment physical examination and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Heavy Equipment Maintenance or a relevant educational background in Diesel technology is preferred.
  • Personal hand tools (up to 1 1/2" wrenches and sockets) are required, with larger tools provided by Zachry as needed.
  • Familiarity with oil analysis and the ability to interpret results is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Self-motivated individuals who can follow directions and work collaboratively are ideal.
  • Proficiency in computer skills is advantageous.
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
