Key Responsibilities- Providing care in post-acute facilities as a Practical Nursing Specialist
- Ensuring adherence to resident care plans
- Monitoring residents' physical and mental well-being, including vital signs
- Conducting health assessments and documenting medical histories
- Administering medications and observing their effects
- Reviewing and maintaining residents' medical records
- Contributing to a safe and comfortable environment
- Managing medical supply inventories
- Assisting with IV setups, immunizations, and phlebotomy
- Supporting the orientation and training of new medical staff
- Current state license to practice as a Practical Nursing Specialist
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing educational program
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- At least 6 months of experience in a nursing or related role
