Supports the store manager in enhancing the financial success of the facility by ensuring that sales and profit objectives are met; reviewing and analyzing P&L (Profit & Loss) statements; assisting the management team in managing expenses to align with sales; developing and executing strategies to address any financial performance issues; and participating in the assessment of economic trends and community needs for budget planning.
Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures by holding hourly associates accountable; analyzing and interpreting reports; implementing and overseeing asset protection and safety measures; maintaining quality assurance standards; conducting safety and operational assessments; developing and executing action plans to rectify deficiencies; and providing guidance on implementing company programs and strategic initiatives.
Offers supervision and growth opportunities for hourly associates in the designated area by recruiting, training, mentoring, and actively engaging with associates; assigning responsibilities; assessing performance and providing recognition; establishing clear expectations; communicating consistently and effectively; ensuring diversity awareness; and providing constructive feedback to achieve business objectives.
Exemplifies and promotes outstanding customer service standards to store associates by adhering to and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model; managing and supporting customer service initiatives; ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are effectively resolved; developing and executing action plans to address deficiencies; and providing leadership in process improvement to ensure a superior customer experience.
Initiates, directs, and engages in community outreach initiatives by encouraging and supporting associates and managers in being responsible community members; establishing and maintaining relationships with key individuals or groups in the community; representing the company to various external organizations; and advocating for company-sponsored programs, events, and sustainability efforts to associates, customers, and the local community.

Live Better U is a Walmart-funded education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$80,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including responsibilities for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination.
