Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Specialist at Washington Hospital assists the professional staff in performing imaging of patients using a gamma camera, processing data and results into the Nuclear Medicine computer system, and prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals to obtain highly quality examinations of various body parts as ordered by the licensed practitioner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and maintain established medical, radiology, and laboratory protocols
  • Assist in preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals
  • Process data and results into the Nuclear Medicine computer system

Requirements

  • Current ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine or registry eligible
  • BLS certification required
  • Shift: Day, with shifts beginning between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
  • Hours Per Week: up to 24, depending on staffing needs and benefit time coverage
