Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington D.C. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using ionizing radiation, including transmission imaging and radionuclide therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Procure, prepare, and quality control radiopharmaceuticals for administration to patients.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients via various routes, including intravenous, intramuscular, and subcutaneous.
• Position patients for imaging and acquire diagnostic quality images using gamma cameras and other equipment.
• Review images to ensure that required information has been acquired and processed properly.
• Assist in cardiac stress testing procedures when performed in conjunction with nuclear medicine procedures.

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in nuclear medicine from an accredited college or university preferred.
• One (1) year of experience required.
• Registered by NMTCB as a CNMT, or Registered by ARRT in nuclear medicine.
• Current nuclear medicine technologist licensure in Washington, D.C.
• CPR certification is required.
