Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced LPN to join our team. As an LPN, you will assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination of nursing services for the unit/hall
- Delegate duties to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel
- Monitor work performance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Observe patients for symptoms and/or reactions, including general physical and/or mental condition
- Assist with notifying attending physicians of emergencies and death of patients
- Implement changes in orders as instructed or ordered by physicians
Qualifications:
- High school graduate
- Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Willing to work as charge nurses, and work as needed during emergencies
- CPR certified yearly
- Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors' orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing
Compensation:
Competitive salary: $60,000 per year (estimated), plus a $7500 sign on bonus available.
