Automotive Sales Professional

The primary objective of this role is to maximize and support 100% of all inbound and outbound customer traffic, while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. This position requires an individual with excellent people skills, who can effectively interact with the dealership's management staff and sales managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily interactions with customers, including greeting and assisting them, conducting needs assessments, and presenting vehicles that meet their requirements.

The following is a representative list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position:
- Work a daily business plan and communicate with incoming traffic/calls, phone-up follow-up, sold follow-up, orphan follow-up, and service follow-up.
- Update business plans and client cards.
- Use eLead CRM to manage and measure lead activity.
- Leverage auto responders, personalized email templates, and phone guides to drive appointments and sales.
- Manage and measure all lead activity and results, including initial email response, personalized emails, initial phone call to set appointments, confirm appointments to drive show rate, greet incoming sales opportunities, and conduct comprehensive needs assessments.
- Select the right vehicle with the help of the floor manager and present it based on the client's needs and wants.
- Demonstrate vehicles at the dealership and present arithmetic to customers, facilitating paperwork and delivering vehicles.
- Sign customers up for first service appointments at delivery and follow up on unsold prospects who do not buy.
- Follow up on people who did not show for appointments and sold follow-up for customers who buy.
- Referrals and household prospecting, ongoing customer contact to promote loyalty and retention, and facilitate automated follow-up, including sold follow-up, service reminders, vehicle anniversary, contacts, recalls, referrals, and prospecting.
- Renewal contacts to re-sell the customer base and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent people skills, and the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. A professional appearance and customer-oriented attitude are essential, as well as excellent interpersonal and telephone skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands:The physical demands of this role include sitting, standing, walking, handling, reaching, and talking. The ability to work outside in weather and inside a climate-controlled environment is also required. Demonstration drives will be a part of this role, and the candidate must be able to accompany customers on these drives.
