Job Description

TEKsystems is seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join their team in the Telecommunications industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate installation schedules for technicians, ensuring timely and efficient completion of projects.

* Perform welcome calls to customers within 48 hours of job booking to confirm details.

* Conduct pre-installation calls to verify site readiness and confirm appointments.

* Process job closeouts accurately and efficiently.

* Provide all necessary paperwork and documentation for jobs, ensuring seamless communication with installers and other departments.

* Monitor job progress, follow up with necessary departments, and drive customer satisfaction and job closure.

* Update the Installation Portal (TIP) and Labor Scheduler (Gantt) daily with job status and progress.

* Close out National Account Jobs and process cancellations efficiently.

* Collaborate with National Account Coordinators to ensure site readiness, scheduling, and other project-related tasks.

* Communicate with Sales representatives to gather additional information as required.

* Liaise with the Data team to obtain confirmation numbers for non-monitored accounts.

Ensure the local SSO warehouse remains a safe, organized, and secure facility, taking corrective action when necessary.

* Maintain safety practices in the warehouse, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), and strive for zero harm.

* Complete daily, weekly, and monthly material handling tasks, including:

o Ordering parts for customer jobs.

o Receiving and inventorying parts in the Oracle system.

o Dispatching materials to technicians and issuing equipment to jobs.

o Requesting returns and replacements from vendors.

* Verify order accuracy and stage parts in the correct warehouse locations.

* Pull and pack materials efficiently.

* Coordinate with freight carriers regarding daily bills of lading and prepare shipping documents as needed.

* Perform general warehouse duties, including housekeeping, stocking, safety, and maintenance.

* Follow up with vendors and procurement on parts status and estimated time of arrival (ETA).

* Update the Installation Portal with part status and availability.

* Explore alternative branch locations to meet customer expectations.

* Participate in special projects, such as physical inventories, cycle counts, and rightsizing.

* Review supply chain reports and complete necessary transactions to maintain inventory accuracy.

 

Requirements:

Self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
